The Dual Check Plate Valve is an all-purpose non-return valve that is significantly stronger, lighter, and smaller than a conventional swing check valve.
The design of the Dual Plate Check Valve emerged from efforts to address the issues associated with swing check valves and lift check valves.
It incorporates two spring-loaded plates hinged on a central pin. As the flow decreases, the plates close through a torsion spring action without needing reverse flow.
This innovative design eliminates water hammer and prevents slamming.
